Situation: The Missouri Department of Transportation had a 100 year anniversary quickly approaching. Our marketing department reached out to external agencies to get bid proposals. Unfortunately, after several attempts we weren't seeing what we wanted for the logo.

Task: I approached the director of the marketing department and mentioned that I would like the opportunity to create an anniversary logo.

Action: I began developing various logos I felt reflected MoDOT. I envisioned a logo that was classy and elegant while not going very far from the original MoDOT logo.

Result: The logo was widely embraced across the state of Missouri and was often shown in various news mediums.
